Story
With my son's school, St George's Harpenden, I hope to run 10 metres in honour of each of 2580 casualties killed or wounded in action in Afghanistan.
As the number of killed and wounded has gone up, so has the distance: and this year we therefore have to run 25.8km, We go on Saturday April 26th 2014.
The money will go to ABF (Army Benevolent Fund), if you would like to sponsor me it will be most appreciated. Each of us will be running with the name of a soldier on our sleeves. I run for LC Jordan Bancroft - see link below - aged 25. https://www.gov.uk/government/fatalities/lance-corporal-jordan-dean-bancroft-killed-in-afghanistan
