To finish off my training for the Edinburgh marathon I'm going to do the 10K Great Manchester Run. I'm running to raise money for scholarships to Manchester University. These scholarships will fund university places for underprivileged folks of Manchester and the brightest students from third-world countries.

Studying at Manchester University was challenging, rewarding and fundamental in preparing me for a career in science - I'd love to afford those benefits to those who really can't afford it!
