                                                                                          The Charity.

Phil and I are doing this event on behalf of the “Wooden Spoon” charity. This is a children’s charity that harnesses the support of the rugby world. Its charitable purpose is to enhance the quality and prospect of life for children and young people who are disadvantaged physically, mentally or socially. The charity has donated over £14m to a variety of good causes. Today Spoon operates across 43 regions in , , and and has helped over 500,000 children to date

                                                                                             The Event.  

Thames Valley 4x4 club have entered a team of three for the 4x4 Challenge event, which is a navigational challenge held over two days, through a number of special stages of varying degrees of difficulty, some of which have been specially opened by the Forestry commission just for the event.
