Fundraising for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Beard club is a charity team event for Birmingham Childrens Hospital. So whats it all about? On the 1st of August members of Beard Club will have a clean shave (facial only, shaving of the head or anywhere else is not requested) then all club members will allow their glorious beards to grow until January 2012! Date TBC. We will have a big get together on this date with live music and other party frolics to celebrate the shaving of the beards.

Members of beard club are alowed to trim/style their beard at their own discression although many club members are choosing to let their beards grow as nature/santa clause intended. Members are advised to post pictures of their progress/styling when changes/progress is made.

You do not have to grow a beard to support beard club. Everyone is welcome :D

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
