Fundraising for Ashdown Forest RDA Group

I will be running in the first ever Brighton Marathon on 18th April for the Ashdown Forest RDA – Riding for the disabled. (This will also be my first marathon.....and depending on how I do?....)
The children ride at Paddock Farm, Fairwarp, East Sussex. Volunteers and Horses all come from within the local community.This is a newly set up group that needs further funding to develop. Any amount would be very much appreciated to go towards up keep of horses. The group fundraise for one off purchases such as ponies, tack, horsetrailers, and equipment for lessons. They also hold a Christmas party for the children and Father Christmas attends with a gift for each - much to the delight of the children.Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

This is a new charity and they are currently setting up Gift Aid so PLEASE leave your email details when donating and then we can get from the government another 28% extra for nothing as long as you are a UK tax payer.
Below is a personal account of why I am supporting them.As many of you know my son Josh has an autistic spectrum condition. He attends Ashdown RDA and the benefits to him and the other disabled children is immeasurable. The children learn how to ride and manage horses. The contact with the horses on a weekly basis seems to help each and every child no matter their disability. Horse riding has certainly helped our son Josh to develop his social awareness and developed a deeper understanding of the importance of body and sign language and his anxiety levels have significantly decreased. He loves going there as do all the other children who attend.
