Story

Why am I doing the marathon? I don't know. Maybe because i'm having a mid-thirties crisis and need to get fit? Maybe because my third child will arrive a few weeks afterwards and i wont even have time to clean my teeth let alone run 26 miles? Maybe because i've never run over Tower Bridge next to a man in a diving suit and a lady dressed up as a dolphin? Maybe because my friends at Oxfam asked me and it's a great cause? Or maybe it's just another thing ticked off life's long list of MUST DO's? Whatever the reason I feel compelled to raise as much dough as possible and i've never asked any of you for any dollar before (and if I have i was probably a bit tipsy and I will pay you back!) so please give generously or whatever you can afford and muchos gracias!

I am running 26 miles in the  London Marathon 2010 for Oxfam! Oxfam is an amazing charity, carrying out vital work all over the world.

Oxfam is all about fighting poverty. They’re undertaking this a massive challenge – and so am I. So please support in any way – big and small. Supporting Oxfam can, and does, make a difference.

Your kind donations will be used by Oxfam to support all this amazing work. You’ll know all about the recent Haiti earthquake and that’s a good example of how Oxfam helps some of the world’s poorest people.

Thank you for all your donations – I’ll let you know how I get on, on the day!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
