Story

Some of you may already know (though it may come as a surprise to many of you!) that Robyn and Emma will be doing tandem parachute jumps on 29th September in aid of the PWRR Welfare and Benevolence Fund. (Yes, that means jumping from an aeroplane at 13,500ft and then falling at 120mph before opening a parachute and floating back to Earth – but we try not to think about the details!!)

The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment (PWRR), nick-named “The Tigers”, is the infantry Regiment for the South East of England.  PWRR recruits solely in the South and South East of England – Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent, Middlesex, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight as well as London.

The PWRR Welfare & Benevolence Fund was set up to help injured soldiers and their families as well as veterans who have served in either the PWRR or its forebear Regiments.

Please help us to raise funds for this worthy cause by sponsoring us in this mad endeavour!
