Some of you may already know (though it may come as a surprise to many of you!) that Robyn and Emma will be doing tandem parachute jumps on 29^th September in aid of the PWRR Welfare and Benevolence Fund. (Yes, that means jumping from an aeroplane at 13,500ft and then falling at 120mph before opening a parachute and floating back to Earth – but we try not to think about the details!!)

The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment (PWRR), nick-named “The Tigers”, is the infantry Regiment for the South East of England.  PWRR recruits solely in the South and South East of England – Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent, Middlesex, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight as well as London.

The PWRR Welfare & Benevolence Fund was set up to help injured soldiers and their families as well as veterans who have served in either the PWRR or its forebear Regiments.
