Story
To celebrate being a non-smoker for 2010, i have decided to commit to a 60 mile bike ride in June,(6 miles longer than the London to Brighton!) It starts in Hampton Court (london) and ends in Hove. Having never done anything like this before, this means some serious training will be involved!
Therefore i am asking all my friends to help me raise the minimal amount of £200 to go towards some great charitys:
1) Norwood, http://www.norwood.org.uk/, a childrens charity helping those with learning difficulties
2) The Cystic Fibrosis Trust, http://www.cftrust.org.uk/ the UK's only national charity dealing with all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis.
3) The Down’s Syndrome Association http://www.downs-syndrome.org.uk/&
4) Have a Heart, helps sick and disadvantaged children
5) Bliss, the special care baby charity is the UK's only charity for babies born sick and premature. http://www.bliss.org.uk/
I know there's a credit crunch on and we are all skint, but by donating even the price of a pint of beer or a glass of wine which you would'nt think twice about spending, collectivily we could all make a difference.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
