I am going out with 10 friends to Switzerland to cycle to raise money for Destination Florida.
Destination Florida specialize in organizing sunshine holidays to Florida for children between the ages of seven to fifteen who have missed out on the fun and laughter of childhood due to serious illness. The holidays are a week long and are meticulously organized with a full medical team of experienced doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and carers, enabling the children to be given their normal medical treatment, yet still enjoy a holiday of a lifetime. A dream that very few of them have any chance of achieving, yet a great holiday is something that we all take for granted.
OK - our trip is as follows
Day 1 is 144km around Lake Annency and over to Chamonix.
Day 2 is 70km from Chamonix to Verbier
Day 3 is an all day mountain bike adventure around Mont Fort
Day 4 we travel over to Italy and cycle 140km to Lake Como
I have been assured that Switzerland is very flat so the cycling should be easy.................
The whole cost of the trip is being paid for by ourselves so all of the money that you donate will go directly to Destination Florida.
