Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2017 I will be taking part in a number of challenges, including trekking the West Highland Way with my husband, Paul, to raise money for Cats Protection.
I have never taken part in any challenge events for charity before and much prefer my home comforts to sleeping in a tent. I want to really push myself, do something that is out of my comfort zone and try to raise as much money for Cats Protection as I can. I'm looking into other challenges that I can take part in and will update this page as I sign-up to them.
The challenges I've committed to so far are:
- 5th March - Meadows Marathon 10K event - COMPLETE
- 7th-18th April - Zombies, Run! Virtual 10K race - COMPLETE
- 23rd April - Great Edinburgh Run 10 miles - COMPLETE
- 30th April - Kiltwalk Glasgow - The Mighty Stride 23 mile walk - COMPLETE
- 4th June - Great Glasgow Women's 10K - COMPLETE
- 5th - 9th July - West Highland Way trek - COMPLETE
Both of our cats Rory and Mac, were adopted from Cats Protection West Lothian branch as kittens. They make a big difference to my life and are fully part of my family. Recently Rory has been very unwell, it has been a tough time for us all but he is now feeling a little better. This has made me want to do something to show my appreciation for the work that Cats Protection do to find cats like mine good homes.
If you want to know more about what I'm doing, my training and my cats, check out my blog Rory's Feline Good (https://rorysfelinegood.wordpress.com).
