Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On the 17th October it will be 12 months since I went into hospital in the middle of the night with gall stone pain. So to celebrate my health I thought it would be a good idea to run a half marathon (silly me!). Its been a real challenge to get back out there and start training after 6 months of being too ill to exercise. So theres been lots of early mornings and hard work but it will be worth it if I can raise a good amount of money for CAP.

Christians Against Poverty is an amazing charity, just this year CAP has helped 400 people every month get themselves out of financial crisis. They provide top quality debt counselling free of charge to anyone that needs it, saving marrages, keeping families together, giving people their lives back and restoring their dignity.

CAP are desperate for more money to open more Centre's around the UK so that we can help thousands more people. They currently have 130 Centre's but we need at least 500 to be able to provde the service to everyone in the UK. If I could raise £300 this would provide enough money to support one family for 12 months through the CAP service. So please dig deep and donate now.
