With less than a week to go, both Laurance and I completed 51 miles as our last long training ride before the event. We are as ready as we'll ever be. Bring on the hills of Brighton!

Along with Laurance, I have started training with the Hornchurch Cycling Club in preparation for the event. As the day gets closer, I am upping my training....last week I clocked up 85 miles, with one run @ 43 miles

A big thank you to John Malcolm who kindly donated some cycle clothing which will be a great help.

So far I have managed a few training rides at a decent distance, but now with the help of John and Laurance for adapting my bike I intend to increase the training with more regular runs and longer distances.

I will keep you posted of my progress.
