Story

Hi my names is Rourke and I decided to grow my hair 18 months ago I have become very attached to it even though it drives me when, especially  after a sleep over I haven’t brushed it and takes me hours to brush out the  dreadlocks & everyone asking me if I’m a girl still that’s life!  and has been interesting how resilient you become to remarks

The breast cancer unit has helped my dear grandma and other friends  and family around  and really gives people the support they need when they are going through this life changing time . I will look forward to getting it cut at the end of the month with Larry king who’s very kindly said he would do it for me please any little donation to help me reach my target thankyou Rourke X

About the charity

We support patients, our people and visitors at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, St. Margaret’s Hospital and Herts and Essex Hospital. We provide support that is beyond the scope of the NHS, for example purchasing special equipment, improving facilities and investing in vital research.
