Anyone who knows me will know that exercise isn’t top of my priorities in life. If going to the pub, watching football, betting and drinking lager were sponsored events, I would excel....

But back in may, in the pub, drinking lager while watching a game of football i was bet by some "good" friends that i couldn’t run a half marathon.  Clearly intoxicated and unaware of the gruelling training that was necessary for such an event i took the challenge on.....

Now to motivate me especially as my knees are in constant agony I have decided to run for a charity that is close to my heart. Beating Bowel Cancer helps raise money for some of the 38000 people that are diagnosed with this condition each year. It is the third most common form of cancer and kills almost 50 people everyday. My father successfully beat the disease in 2004 and charities like Beating Bowel Cancer have helped thousands of people like my Dad. 

Any sponsorship no matter how small will be hugely appreciated….
