Christina & I both completed the 480km challenge, we had 5 tough days, with long mountain climbs, it was an amazing experience, with wonderful views of the Great Wall, and a chance to discover a small part of China and its people.

Thankyou all so much for helping us raise the funds we needed to take part, together we have raised over £8,500, but with all the women cycling over £600,000 was raised.

This is an exciting challenge both Christina and I have taken on board, and hopefully by training seriously we will be able to complete the distance and have the stamina for the mountain terrain.

3 years ago I lost my daughter to cystic fibrosis, and my sister to cancer, and this has given me the determination to push myself to the limit and raise money for Prof Robert Winston and his team, to help with the vital research needed into these terrible diseases.

Christina, a doctor dealing with gynaecological problems day in, day out felt this cause was close to her heart and she also needed a challenge to get fit and achieve something before too old!

All our male friends seem to have mid-life crises, and we have decided to avoid this by causing mayhem on the Norfolk byways, lose weight (hopefully) have lovely toned bodies, get ourselvesfit, and hopefully in doing so, raise lots of money (with your help) for this worthwhile cause.
