Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you may know, I have been running for quite some time and this year, I will be running the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 25 April 2010 - my first Marathon ( and possibly last!). This will be my toughest challenge to date especially suffering from a knee injury just before Christmas.

I will be raising money for The Unicorn Theatre which is based on London’s South Bank. The Unicorn is Britain’s flagship theatre for young people and they lead the way in providing access to high quality theatre and education for disabled children with an annual programme which includes:

· Audio described performances with extended touch tours

· Integrated British Sign Language interpreted performances and captioned performances

· A production specifically for children with complex disabilities or an autistic spectrum disorder

I understand that some of you have been/will be sponsoring others for this event and I would be grateful for any donation - be it £1 per mile (total 26.2 miles) or however much you can spare.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

A BIG thank you in advance!

Ruth
