The crisis in Syria has been going on for 5 years and the risk of losing a generation grows more with every day. More than 3 million children have not attended schools of any type for several years.

Leila is participating in the Junior and Mini Great Run 2016 to support the education of the children of Iqraa School in Syria. This school was established by Rethink Rebuild Society and Syria Relief Charity and opened its doors for the children of Al-Sahara village on 15th September 2014. The school has accommodated about 400 pupils aged 6 to 15 including displaced and orphaned children and provided them with education, psychological and medical support.
