Hi everyone. 

My name is Sammy. I had literally only just arrived at Any Dog ‘il Do Rescue with hopes of finding my new home when everyone noticed that I wasn’t feeling very well. 

Unfortunately, as I’d just arrived, I hadn’t yet been for my MOT including vaccinations which would protect me from lots of scary doggy diseases. 

Thanks to the fast actions of the staff and volunteers who look after me, who got me to the vets to get me checked out immediately, I think I’m actually going to be ok. But I have something called parvovirus (everyone was very worried about me). 

I’m so thankful for all the positive thoughts, well wishes and donations that kind people have given to the rescue already. The human people at the rescue are very grateful too. They said the vets bill is going to be a biggy- but that I’m worth it (I have to agree - I think I’m very cute!) - but they have said if anyone else would like to help out, it would be very much appreciated (they also asked if you could tick that you want to give gift aid too, I’m not sure what this is, but they said it doesn’t cost you any more, but they get more money towards my vets bill if you do).

The vets have been taking really good care of me. And have said I’m making good progress. 

The rescue have asked me to let you all know that there has been at least one other little doggy who had this virus too in the Loanhead area a couple of weeks ago, so please make sure you get these vaccinations things for your fur babies.
