Story

As some of you know, Chris and I lost our son Christian to a very cruel genetic disease 'Spinal Muscular Atrophy'. He was just 6 months and 4 days old when he died peacefully in our arms at Dewsbury hospital in West Yorkshire, we were left broken hearted.
Christian was very beautiful, he had lovely blonde hair and big blue eyes and when he smiled he lit up the room with a big cheeky smile that pulled at your heartstrings. In his short life Christian brought sunshine, happiness and lots of love into our lives. Although, left devastated we felt very lucky to have had our little man in our lives and he will always be in our heart and memories.

Spinal Muscular Atrophy UK (the charity) was very supportive during a very difficult time and came up with a unique way of remembering and celebrating the life of all children affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy by creating an 'Angel Fund'. Anyone can donate or raise money for the Angel Fund now and as far into the future as they wish. Once these Angel funds exceed £5,000 your child receives a universal star listing. Christian's angel fund was amongst the first to reach this amount and his Star named Christian is in the constellation 'CYGNUS' this was registered 25th October 2004, a year after he was born.

The Ultimate Trio Challenge
The vital work that the charity does continues, as does the need for funds to maintain the support for the children and families affected by this terrible condition, and which we were privileged and thankful to receive.
So, to continue to support the charity, I intend to complete some significant (crazy!) physical challenges this year and I would be truly thankful for any donations to help me raise the money the charity desperately needs. Please read on to find out more about my plans are and to see just how crazy I am!
