OK, so I said I would not do another challenge! Unfortunately the aches and bruises have gone and it seems a good idea to do another cycle ride. Egypt was hard, Cuba steeper and tougher but CHINA! Help! the itinerary looks fearful.In Cuba I met up with 8 of the girls that I had met in Egypt- the group effect is working and there is no going back - we are all going to China in 2010 to cycle 450Kms in the valleys and mountains of Beijing.

By way of training 4 of us cycled the C2C (Sea to Sea) across the UK last year. That was tough but China looks awsome. This year we plan to cycle The Yorkshire Dales cycle way.Three of the ladies will hit 50 in the next few months and I will be 60 by the time we set off .This is a celebration of the fact that we are all well enough to contemplate doing this challenge.

Others are not so lucky and it is for this that I will be doing the trip for this fantastic charity.Many of the children we care for will never sit on a bike or reach our age. I know from first hand how the children, siblings,parents and extended families benefit from Shooting Star House and our out-reach team.

Please please help me to raise the monies to send me to Beijing for this enormous challenge. I will be paying all my own fees so every penny you give will go directly to Shooting Star.
