Story
Here is my post-race update!
Thank you so much for your support. It was a fantastic race and I enjoyed every step, knowing that I'm running for a good cause and that so many people are thinking of me.
The experience exceeded my expectations and gave me an amazing feeling of achievement, happiness and pride, and also a deep appreciation of the fact that I have been given my life and am strong enough to run and enjoy the feeling of freedom it gives me.
I finished in 1 hour, 45 minutes and 36 seconds and have already secured my place for next year's Bath Half!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have a challenge ahead of me on 06 March 2011, as I will be running the Bath Half Marathon on behalf of two charities, “Guide Dogs” which supports blind people and their guide dogs
and NAPAC, a charity for survivors of childhood abuse:
I would really appreciate your support and would be grateful for any donation, however small or big it may be.
I am fascinated by the work and how animals can enable blind people to live an almost independent life.
Please could I ask for your support on my mission? It will make a difference to many people’s lives.
