Water. There's no doubt that without it, human survival would be impossible. From 70% of the human body being made up of it, to using it for basic living, its uses are limitless. To know that there are those in the world who live without access to a clean supply is disheartening to say the least.

It's for this reason that I have decided to fundraise for Penny Appeal's Thirst Relief Project, by (crazily!) agreeing to climb 19000ft up Mount Kilimajaro over 7 days, this December. This will be a huge personal challenge, fitting in intensive training around work life as a doctor- but ultimately I feel it will be worth it!  

Your money will be used to build deep water wells and provide clean water to some of the most needy in Africa. Please dig deep into your pockets and hearts and donate as much as you can- you will undoubtedly be changing lives!
