We offer respite & palliative care to children, young people & their families

Story

Hi Friends.

You may or may not be aware, but my youngest daughter Aasiya who is 4 years old suffers from a rare brain condition.

We are helped immensely by a local Childrens Hospice called Derian House located in Chorley (Lancashire) who provide families like ours with respite care for children with life limiting conditions at their Hospice and can also accommodate the family in flats located on site, with lots of things to do for the kids. They also provide a limited amount of care and play therapy at the family home. They are an amazing group of people doing amazing things for children, many of whom have precious little time in this world.

I will be running the Manchester 10k Run on Sunday 10th May to help raise money and awareness for Derian House, and also Aasiya's condition.

I have never done any real running so this represents a massive challenge for me. Currently in training and doing well apart from a few aches and pains.

Please help by sponsoring me and making a donation to this fantastic organisation. Please note your donation is immediately forwarded to Derian House by Justgiving.

Thank you for taking the time to read my page, and your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Much Love.

Sajid & Aasiya
