We made it!  (well, I was about 10 miles short because of an over-the-handlebars fall)!  Thanks very much to everyone for their sponsorship.  If you would like a reimbursement for my lost miles, let me know.  No broken bones, just a sore elbow and very bruised legs.  Anyway it was great fun, beautiful scenery, some good climbs and some great downhills.  Thanks again for your generosity.

Ian and I are raising money for the Reigate and Redhill YMCA by cycling 150 miles or so of the (mostly off-road) Wessex Way from Weston-Super-Mare to Winchester from 6th - 8th August.

The money will go towards projects to support children and adolescents with disabilities including play clubs; sports activities, discos and work placement schemes.

In the meantime, Ian and I will test our professed enjoyment of off road cycling through three days in the saddle, up and down the Mendip Hills!  We have the new tub of chamois cream ready, and hope that you will want to support this good cause.
