Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On 7th August, I shaved off my moustache for the first time in 38 years to raise funds for the vital work of NI Children’s Hospice.
Inspired by my work colleague Jack Kay's fundraising efforts for the Duchess of Kent Hospice through Hair for Hospices - www.hairforhospices.co.uk (Jack also shaved off his 38-year-old beard!) - as I’ve been working in AFBI, Belfast for 25 years, I’m asking you to consider donating in multiples of 25, i.e. 25p, £2.50, £25, £250, or any amount in between.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now towards my fundraising efforts, and show your support for NI Children’s Hospice. Thank you
My scientific advisor has noted the lack of clarity on just how long my upper lip will be hairless. That all depends on you - the more you give the longer I shave. I think £10 per day to remain hairless is reasonable. Please comment if you agree or disagree!
