Hi all,

Unfortunately I have had to defer due to injury but will be hoping to run the Marathon next year, I am just awaiting confirmation on getting a place. Thank you to those that have donated, I really do hope to do this next year and if unable to get a place I will look to do something else.

On April 23rd I will be running my first ever marathon at the ripe old age of 41! I have a place after entering for the first time ever! I hadn’t run further than 10 miles prior to this challenge and only entered on a whim after our 100k walk last year! 

I will be raising money for a charity close to mine and many of my friends Hearts! This is the foundation set up in loving memory of Stevie B by his amazing family. They do so much good for young aspiring sports people and I’d love to be able to donate some money to help them out! I know raising any money for them will help motivate me to get over that finish line.
