Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Both Sam & Jane - mother and son (and 598 other mad people) will be embarking on a hike around sunny in aid of the Lindsey Lodge Hospice. Each year the Hospice organises a sleep walk which last year saw 500 female participants take part in a 6 or 13 mile walk around in pyjamas and fancy dress in the middle of the night.

This year however Lindsey Lodge have allowed 100 male participants as long as they wear a splash of pink – Sam intends to wear all pink.

As an initial target both Sam & Jane have set a combined target of £200, realistic and do-able as long as you dig deep and give every penny you can share.

The main reason for participating in this event is due to the care and hospitality that Lindsey Lodge Hospice showed to a beloved Marlene Longmate - a Mother, Wife, Nana and Friend that sadly passed while under there care due to terminal cancer. We see this as our opportunity of saying thank you and repaying them for the help and support they both gave to Marlene and the family at such a difficult time.
