Here's a recap of what I'm doing, please do click on the links as I've tried to cut it short (geddit!) :

1) Shaving my head for Singapore's Hair for Hope (http://www.hairforhope.org.sg/index.php?/home/sectionpage/2) event on the 23rd of July 2011, I aim to raise SGD 1000 for the Children's Cancer Foundation in Singapore and GBP 750 for the Association for International Cancer Research.

2) The cut hair will be donated to an organisation in the US that makes wigs for children with medical hair loss (http://www.locksoflove.org/causes.html).

For the Association for International Cancer Research click on the "Donate Now" button below. (http://www.aicr.org.uk/research.stm
or

if you want to donate to the Children's Cancer Foundation (http://www.ccf.org.sg/aboutus/mission.html) in Singapore please email me at samwijey@gmail.com

Other Non-Financial Action:

The World Cancer Declaration is "A consensus between government officials, public health experts and cancer advocates from around the world who are committed to eliminating cancer as a life-threatening disease for future generations."

It outlines 11 targets to be achieved by 2020: http://www.uicc.org/declaration/targets-2020

Please read the links and sign here if you agree with the declaration: http://www.uicc.org/declaration/sign-world-cancer-declaration
