I'm going to climb Kilimanjaro by the Rongai route from the 15th March, hopefully getting to the summit by dawn on the 23rd March 2013. 

All donations will go to Dorothy House Hospice. They helped my Grandad in the last few months of his life. 

He was an enthusiastic climber, reaching the peak of Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Table Mountain. 

He always wanted to climb Kilimanjaro, but never got round to it. 

That's why I'm doing it in his memory.
