Fundraising for St Teresa's Hospice
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running again this year in memory of my Aunty who died a year ago (March 2016).Last year when I decided to sign up I did so for Macmillan because of the support they gave my Aunty on diagnosis. Having raised an amazing amount, I was able to also donate to St Teresa's as a way of saying thank you for the amazing care and support they gave my Aunty and the family in her final few weeks and ultimately, enabling her to have her last dying wish which was to die in her own home surrounded by those that loved her.
After her death, St Teresa's continued to offer support to the family to help through the bereavement process.
Thank you will never be enough but hopefully what I raise will go a small way to supporting other patients and their families at such a heartbreaking time.
