It's the first time I am running in The London Marathon supporting a fantastic charity Bliss and I am asking for your kind donation to help me raise money to help care for premature and sick babies. The money raised will help fund research and improve resources needed by hospitals. I have chosen to run for Bliss as both of my children who are now 12 and 8 were born premature. Nathaniel was born at 33 weeks and he weighed 3lb 6oz- he spent 5 weeks in Special Care Baby Unit at Whipps Cross Hospital. Tamara was born at 29 weeks and weighed 1lb 14oz- she spent 10 weeks in SCBU and most of the time was in the High Dependency Unit where she received 'round the clock' care as she was so small. We will never forget the fantastic care and medical attention our children received during their time at WXH in SCBU and supporting Bliss by facing a challenge like The London Marathon is the least I can do.
