Fundraising for Penny Appeal
Story
Salaam/Hello everyone,
Safe, clean water is fundamental to human life. Yet even today 1.8 billion people in developing countries in Africa and Asia use a water source that is contaminated with waterborne diseases like diarrhoea, cholera, dysentery, typhoid and polio. Together, these diseases kill an estimated 4,000 children every single day.
This year I will be raising money for two deep water wells to be built in Gambia. I am aiming to fundraise for not only one well, but two water wells to be built in memory of my grandfather and nani who both have passed away due to illnesses.
I will also take on the challenge to run the London Marathon on Sunday 22nd April 2018. Each water well will give clean drinking water to 500 people, I am aiming to double that by providing clean water for 100 people, who need your help. Please give what you can to this amazing cause, which is hosted by Penny Appeals Thirst Relief campaign!
