Story

This page has been set up on behalf of Chris (Lynne’s husband); and Sarah and Simon (Lynne’s children).

As you will know Lynne has recently passed away. We are all heartbroken; she put up an amazing fight but in the end it was just too much for her. We always knew she was special to us, her family, but it is clear how special she was to so many other people too. Unfortunately, given the current circumstances, we are unable to celebrate her life in the way we would have liked and so many who loved her will be unable to attend her funeral. We hope to have a special day for her once the pandemic is over.

When Lynne retired, she volunteered to help at St Kentigerns Hospice. She absolutely loved helping out there and would often talk about the activities she’d been involved with and the people she met. Unfortunately due to her shoulder replacement she was unable to volunteer for a while but always talked of going back.

Mum always loved receiving flowers but we know she would prefer for her beloved St Kentigerns to be supported financially during this time, when charities are really struggling to stay afloat. If you are able to please donate in memory of Lynne.

Thank you

Chris, Sarah and Simon xxx
