We provide emotional and wellbeing support to children in Essex and East London

Story

10@10K Challenge

I have been working for 'bccs’ a registered children’s charity for the last 6 years.  We deliver vital mental health and emotional wellbeing services to children, young people, parents and school staff across Essex and East London.

Our work is on-going during the pandemic and sadly, is
likely to be needed more than ever as schools return to normal routines.
During the lockdown, we have lost vital fundraising potential from
events and challenges which usually take place at this time and so I thought I’d like to see if I could help.

Next Bank Holiday Monday, ‘bccs’ was due to have several
runners undertaking the 10k London Vitality run in London which has now been indefinitely postponed so I have decided to cycle 10k on Saturday, Sunday and Monday to raise funds to support their work in response to their ’10 @ 10k’ initiative.

For each 10k I cycle, I am hoping to encourage 10 people to
donate £10 to support children’s mental health.  If you can help, your
donation really will make a difference.

If you’d like to read more about the work we do, please go
to www.bccs.org.uk.

If you would like to run, walk or cycle 10k this weekend to
support children’s mental health in the ‘bccs’ #10@10k initiative, you can email them on headoffice@bccs.org.uk
– they’d love to hear from you.

Thank you for your support
