Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

This is the fourth time I will be doing the London Marathon and definitley the last (!), so am hoping to make it the best one yet in terms of finishing time (they say you get better at running with age) and fundraising!  I am raising funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Support Centre in Chester who provide valuable specialist therapies, support and advice in managing the symptoms of MS.  The work they do is fantastic and my mum who has been attending weekly for years certainly appreciates their continuing support.

This year is is a special year as 2010 marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Chester centre and there is a year-long programme of celebration, with a target of £25000 for 25 years to be raised across a series of events. I am putting myself through the gruelling 26 miles and 385 yards in the hope that with you help I can make a significant contribution to this target.  Any donation you can make, whatever the amount would be greatly appreciated - it all counts no matter how much.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you

Sarah
