In February of this year I lost a school friend of mine, Katie Pratt, to cancer.  She left behind three beautiful children and an adoring family along with many friends. 

In memory of Katie, and to help raise money for the Isabel Hospice where Katie passed away and who so greatly supported her family, I am running the Original Grim challenge on Saturday 4th December 2010, an 8 mile cross country race over an army assault course.  Mud, sweat and tears! Yes I must be mad but Katie's fight and her amazing family will inspire me to finish every mud caked mile!
