As some of you may know I volunteer at a mental health drop-in in Deptford on Saturdays. This drop-in provides an opportunity for people who typically suffer from severe and enduring mental health problems to receive support, social contact and enjoy being in a warm, accepting and friendly environment. It is a fantastic resource for the people who go there and somewhere which I feel proud to be a part of.

This drop-in is run by the Voluntary Care Centre (VCC), which provides a wider support service for people in need within the Lewisham community.They deliver voluntary services such as gardening, befriending, shopping, DIY, wheelchair pushing, driving and escorting, in addition to mental health drop-ins.
