Story
At just 10 months old, my son Max suffered Anaphylaxis to peanut butter, it was the single most terrifying day of my life.
Since then we have been on a journey of educating ourselves, family members and friends into how serious his allergy is. Allergy doesn't just happen once, it affects many decisions we make as a family. From eating out to getting on plane, we have to consider the safety of Max at all times. We always carry 2 Epi Pens (Adrenaline Auto Injectors) with us incase he comes into contact or accidentally ingests peanuts.
It is estimated that between 5-8% of children suffer from a food allergy. Allergy UK provide amazing support to those with allergy and I cannot thank them enough for all they do.
