On 17th October 2010 our Dad, Bernard, highly successfully completed a tandem parachute jump for charity to celebrate his 80th birthday...! He wanted to raise as much money as possible for the Cornwall Hospice Care charity - a very worthwhile and deserving cause.

As many of you may remember, our dear Mum spent her last few days in the Mount Edgcumbe hospice in St Austell. Dad had looked after her at home for many months as she battled against cancer, but her needs became too great and she needed the specialist care of the hospice. They looked after her, and all of us, in such an amazing way, so now we would like to do something to help them.

So many kind souls have already given generously towards this remarkable and daring event, and helped us to help Dad make a difference. Mum's last views were of the beautiful gardens which she adored. We hope the money raised could help maintain them for others to enjoy their peace and tranquillity. Of course additional funds would be very gratefully received -  so please continue to dig deep and donate now.
