Story
I'm running a half marathon on Sunday 11th October (in the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London) - for the first time ever! - and raising money for a new charity called CLEFT (www.cleft.org.uk) and I would love it if you would support me!
My godson Nat (Antonia and Jeremy's son) aged 3, was born with a cleft lip and palate and I have seen first hand what can be achieved through expert medical care and the latest operational techniques. CLEFT has only recently been started up to fund research and help improve the lives of children born with the condition. 75% of the money raised will go into helping the team in the UK not just in enhancing physical appearance but in improving core abilities such as feeding, speech and hearing and 25% will go towards helping children in Ghana, Sri Lanka, Uganda and Bangladesh.
No matter how small (or big!) your donation will be really appreciated and will make a dramatic difference to a child's life. Please donate now and thank you!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
