We Help and support homeless veterans, and to Improve the lives of veterans in need

Story

16th June at 10:00hrs - SSgt Scott Michaelson-Yeates and members of 4 Regiment RLC Gym staff, will be conducting a Soldier Conditioning Review (SCR) on the hour every hour for 24 hrs, to help raise money for Homeless Veterans.

The help for homeless veterans charity is based in South Yorkshire who support former members of the HM Forces that are struggling to find homes. As a serving Soldier this is something close to my heart as I strongly believe it is unacceptable to have members who have served Queen and Country to be on the streets.

Therefore myself and the AAPTI's from 4 Regiment RLC will conduct a 24hr event to support this charity.

What is the SCR?

The SCR is a Gym based performance diagnostic tool used to monitor the effectiveness and performance of Soldiers, it comprises of a series of Gym based Exercises to indicate the overall physical conditioning of a Soldier. It Comprises of:

Broad Jump
Seated Med Ball Throw
Hex Bar Deadlift
Heaves
Agility Sprints (100m)
2Km Run

We would be very grateful if you could help and support us with this charity whether its £1 or 1p it will all go to a fantastic cause.

Lets get our veterans off the streets.

About the charity

. As a charity we have helped many homeless personnel by providing a wraparound Service of Care (SOC). We have housed many who were street homeless and provided more sustainable accommodation for those who previously were living in inadequate accommodation. Many are suffering from PTSD
