As you know, I am in now full training for the 350 mile cycle ride across the battlefields of France to raise funds for Help for Heroes. This year coincides with the 70th anniversary of the famous retreat from Dunkirk in May/June 1940. Our ride will end in Dunkirk on the anniversary and will add further poignancy to our trip.

This fantastic charity which was set up with the sole purpose to support our wounded service personnel from Afghanistan, means so much to me.  I know there are many worthy causes, all demanding of your support and I just want to say that if you are able to sponsor me, I feel you are supporting a very worthy cause indeed: A cause that  does so much to help these young men and women come to terms and cope with their horrific injuries.  Thank you.
