The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am cycling 316 miles from the HSBC HQ in London, Canary Wharf, through the UK, France and Belgium all the way to Amsterdam.

This demanding journey which climbs 6042ft (1844m) will not be an easy one with 4 consecutive days of cycling putting my physical, mental and emotional strength to the test, not to mention some expected awkward chafing.

This endeavour is for a worthy cause as Guide Dogs for the Blind do amazing work and provide a unique combination of practical and emotional support to transform the lives of people who are blind or partially sighted offering them independence, inclusion and freedom. Every hour, another person in the UK goes blind, proving just how important this charity is so please dig deep and donate!

You can also donate via phone by texting GDOG72 followed by the amount you are willing to sponsor to 70070.
