Story
On the 17th Feb I am running the Brighton Half Marathon. Anyone who knows me will know that regimented exercise is not my thing but for the last few months I have been training hard-ish and quite enjoying it. I'm running for the charity Brighton Housing Trust, which I think is a good cause and not just because they pay my wages...
Brighton Housing Trust provides support, accommodation and advice for over 11,000 homeless, insecurely housed and vulnerable people in Brighton and Hove, Eastbourne and Hastings.
BHT runs over 20 different project that work with homless men and women, adults and children seeking asylum, vulnerable men and women with ill mental health, men and women overcoming addictions, and families struggling to keep their homes. A total of 11,474 people last year.
