My story

Enterprise for Change: An Indian Journey

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for 2012

Through invitations I have received to speak at school assemblies and university events, I know that alongside direct support for our Indian charity partners, Toybank, Apnalaya and Doorstep School,  The Sharma Foundation has a role to play in raising awareness in children across the UK, about how underpriviledged comunities rise to the challenge of poverty with entreprise and initiative. In 2012, The Sharma Foundation is embarking on an ambitious project with the British Asian Trust to create an educational pack for children in Year 6 to learn how Indian children use enterprise to overcome poverty. We would be grateful if you would make a donation on this page to support our work, to build a more enterprising and innovative future generation here, whilst they simultaneously raise funds for Toybank and Doorstep School.
