We empower local communities to end child poverty

Story

Hey folks,

I'm participating in the Run To The Beat half-marathon on Sep 26th to help raise money for impoverished Children In Ethiopia. I'm running on behalf of St Matthew's Children Fund, and aiming to help raise awareness of the tireless work they are doing for at risk children in Etiopia. SMCF promotes the welfare of children in disadvantaged urban Ethiopian communities through supporting community-led projects. They do everything from helping support orphaned children (like Feker Alemu and her brother whose parents died from AIDs) to providing children with books and equipment so they can go to school.

Please sponsor my efforts - every contribution will go towards supporting children like Feker and Melaku. And you'll get to laugh at the pictures of my chicken legs in shorts as I run. It's a win-win situation!

Cheers,

Seye
