Losing a loved one is so hard, but we were grateful for the Purple Butterfly Room within Rotherham Hospital where we were able to spend time with Ma during her last few days.

It's a private room for a patient, and an adjoining room with sleeping and kitchen facilities, so Chris was with Ma day and night. She was so peaceful and it was comforting for me to spend some quiet time with her every day.

I know Ma would have liked others to be able to benefit from this lovely place and so we would be grateful for any donations to support it in her name.
