We are Braving the Shave because we want to raise funds for one of our local charity's, Tiny Hearts Appeal. Brave the Shave is uniting thousands of women across social media who have bravely shaved off their hair to raise vital funds.

The Tiny Hearts appeal is a very special campaign launched by Barnsley Hospital Charity in September 2014 and aims to raise £1 million to help support the relocation and development of a brand new Neonatal Unit. The new unit aims to provide an even better standard of care for all the special care babies and the most comfortable environment for all families and staff on the unit.

We are are lifelong friends. Last year we took part in a Charity Darts Event, and between us last year we raised over £500 for Cancer Research UK. This year we want to double that and raise £1000 for Tiny Hearts Appeal, and with your help, we are confident in smashing this target.

We get to see what shape heads we have on the 9th November. Shaunbarry the Barber, has kindly offered to expertly Shave our hair. The Honeywell pub has generously offered to host the event, and everyone is invited to come along... 

We are very lucky and already have had lots of generous donations of prizes, for a raffle to be drawn on the Shave day... more details to follow...
