We’re the UK’s leading charity for Crohn’s and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. We’re working to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and to raise awareness.

Story

In April I plan to carry out a Sponsored Walk in aid of The National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease - NACC.                                                                                        Jo, our youngest son, has been suffering from Crohn's since 2002, and has been through an operation. He suffers frequent recurring attacks. Little is known about the causes and as yet there is no cure.

I am going to walk all round the 141 miles of the Shropshire Way. I'll be combining an ambition to walk a long distance path and helping to raise awareness of Crohn's Disease and raising money to aid research projects.

David will act as my transport manager, caravan mover, caterer, masseur, and search-and-rescue party if I get lost! (Hopefully mobile phones will help me avoid that).

We are allowing a fortnight of walking about ten miles a day. If anyone feels like joining me for a day I would love to have some company.

Please sponsor me, either on line (see below), or by e-mail: davidfarncombe@btinternet.com , or mail
