Howdy!

This Sunday I am running the Sussex Beacon Half Marathon - 13 miles of blood, sweat and tears!!!

I was going to wait until I get to run the London Marathon before stinging you all for some sponsorship, however, people in need wait for no one and hopefully I'm not too late!

It's going to be a gruelling run, but doing it in the knowledge that some people, somewhere, will benefit from this effort will spur me on and make the run all the more worthwhile.

Not everyone has the chance to take part in such an event, so the charity I am running for is BLESMA, The British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association. BLESMA provides a support and caring service, and help in everyday problems, to limbless ex-Service men and women, as well as the widows who devoted their lives to looking after their seriously disabled spouses and now need support themselves.
